Gujarat Petrosynthese Limited (Polymer Alloys & Blends Division), an ISO 9001:2015 & ISO 14001:2015 certified company, is a Project set up in the joint sector by Gujarat Petrosynthese Limited a pioneer & profit making manufacturer of Polybutenes and Karnataka State Industrial Investment & Development Corporation.
The company has technical collaboration with the Chenguang Research Institue of Chemical Industry, China National Blue Star Co. who has also made an equity contribution. The company is manufacturing Polymer Alloys & Blends of Engineering Plastics to meet demanding needs for specific applications.
Established in the year 1996, with 15 years of vast industrial experience GPL ensures consistently high quality of both general & tailor-made blends such as Engineering Plastics, Polymer Alloys, Polymer Blends utilizing modern testing equipment & qualified personnel & can confidently meet customer's stringent requirements.
The plant is located at No.24, II Main, I Phase, Doddanekkundi Industrial Area, Behind graphite India Ltd., Mahadevapura Post, Bangalore- 560048. The company has Twin Screw Extruders along with allied equipment which has been imported from China. A full-fledged testing laboratory has also been set-up with injection molding machine, universal testing machine, melt flow indexer, Sophisticated color matching capabilities of latest state of art, imported spectrophotometer and formulation Software, etc., The company has also installed a D.G.Set for captive power generation.
The project was commissioned as Karnataka Petrosynthese Ltd at the end of November 1996 by Chinese collaborators and commercial production started in December 1996. Plant Engineers have been trained extensively in the collaborators unit in China. In Dec 2002 the company was merged with Gujarat Petrosynthese Ltd and became its Polymer Blends and Alloys Division.
The company is capable of providing a wide variety of products manufactured to suit customer requirements. The present product mix includes Modified Polycarbonate, Modified PVC, Modified Polyacetals, Modified ABS, Modified PBT, Modified Polyamide, Modified PP, etc. Major markets for these products encompass automobile, textile, electrical & electronic, and consumer goods industries.

The present product mix includes Modified Polycarbonate, Modified PVC, Modified Polyacetals, Modified ABS, Modified PBT, Modified Polyamide, Modified PP, etc. Major markets for these products encompass automobile, textile, electrical & electronic, Telecommunication, consumer goods, and Light industry. In addition, GPL's performance blends & alloys can be used for a variety of applications.
